Dates: March 6, 13, 20, and April 3 Day: Friday afternoons Duraton: 4 weeks Time: 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Instructor: Abigail Brown Ages: 18+ In this focused wheel-throwing class, students will learn the fundamentals of making a functional teapot from start to finish. Participants will throw the teapot body, explore multiple lid styles, and design and attach a spout, with attention to proportion, fit, and function. This class is ideal for students looking to deepen their wheel skills while tackling the ultimate pottery challenge of a complex, multi-part form. This course is designed for students who have proficiency centering and throwing 2 lbs of clay. Students receive 50+ hours of open studio access to practice and grow outside of class. Students purchase their own clay for this course. Cancellation policy: Cancellations and refund requests must be made by email to salidaceramics@gmail.com. Requests made more than ten days before the first class will be refunded in full. Requests within ten days of the first class will be refunded at 50%. Once the class begins, no refunds are available. Orders over $100 will incur a $20 processing fee for cancellations. If a class or workshop does not fill, the studio reserves the right to cancel it one week before the start date. Sliding scale and need-based scholarships are available. Members receive 20% off of classes and workshops.
