MEMBERSHIP
Salida Ceramics offers membership to artists with at least intermediate experience with clay, such that they are able to work independently in the studio and have knowledge around clay management and glazing best practices. Members receive their own cubby and a shelf to store their work, tools, and clay.

Members enjoy 24/7 studio access through their own personal door code.​
Our studio is equipped with 17 Shimpo wheels, a wedging table, ware boards, and a full range of shared tools for throwing and finishing work.
​For handbuilders and sculptors, we offer dedicated equipment including a slab roller, extruder, spacious work tables, banding wheels, molds, and wareboards.​
Members can choose from nine clay bodies, all available for purchase in the studio:
ChoCoLate Clay, Especkled, Pecos Porcelain, White Stoneware, Cashmere, Ochre, Laguna Frost Porcelain, Laguna B-Mix, and Super Sculpture Buff.​
All glazes and oxides are provided for member use, and glaze and firing costs are included in the price of clay.
The studio is equipped with two Skutt kilns, where all member work is fired.​
