Dates: March 4 to April 15 (skips April 8 class) Day: Wednesday evenings Duraton: 6 weeks Time: 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Instructor: Abigail Brown Ages: 18+ This wheel-throwing class is focused on creating functional tableware. Students will learn to make bowls, plates, tumblers, pitchers, and casserole dishes, with an added emphasis on consistency, proportion, and sizing across a cohesive set. This course is designed for students who have taken a beginner class or have some basic wheel experience, with proficiency in throwing a 6" cylinder required to enroll. Students receive 50+ hours of open studio access to practice and grow outside of class. A 25lb bag of clay is included in the class. Cancellation policy: Cancellations and refund requests must be made by email to salidaceramics@gmail.com. Requests made more than ten days before the first class will be refunded in full. Requests within ten days of the first class will be refunded at 50%. Once the class begins, no refunds are available. Orders over $100 will incur a $20 processing fee for cancellations. If a class or workshop does not fill, the studio reserves the right to cancel it one week before the start date. Sliding scale and need-based scholarships are available. Members receive 20% off of classes and workshops.
