KIDS CLAY! Handbuilding and Sculpture Class Dates: November 30, December 7, 14, 21 Duration: Four Weeks Time: 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Ages: 10 to 15 ---- Young artists will learn handbuilding and sculpture techniques in this four-week pottery class. Students will explore their creativity while making functional and decorative pieces from clay in a fun, supportive environment. Each week, students will create a new project: November 30 -- Clay Door Name Plates: Make and decorate a clay name plate to hang on your bedroom door. December 7 -- Gnomes: Build and decorate a clay gnome. December 14 -- Pinch Pot Animals: Use pinch pot techniques to make a clay animal. December 21 -- Handbuilt Mugs: Build a clay mug and attach a handle. Pieces will be bisque fired and glazed after the class, and ready to pick up by mid-to-late January. ------ Cancellation policy: Registration for this class is nonrefundable. If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to another student.
