Dates: October 14 to November18 Day: Wednesday evenings Time: 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Duration: 6 weeks Instructor: Abigail Brown (she/her) This all-levels class is designed for both beginners and continuing handbuilding students. Learn handbuilding techniques while creating functional tableware, including plates, cups, bowls, a casserole dish, and a pitcher. Each class will include a demonstration followed by dedicated work time with instructor guidance. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a handmade tableware set for four! Students have 55+ hours of open studio access to practice and build skills outside of class. A 25lb bag of clay is included in the class. ----- Cancellation policy: Cancellations and refund requests must be made by email to salidaceramics@gmail.com. Requests made more than ten days before the first class will be refunded in full. Requests within ten days of the first class will be refunded at 50%. Once the class begins, no refunds are available. Orders over $100 will incur a $20 processing fee for cancellations. If a class or workshop does not fill, the studio reserves the right to cancel it one week before the start date. Sliding scale and need-based scholarships are available. Members receive 20% off of classes and workshops.
