Day: Wednesday afternoons Time: 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. Dates: September 2 to October 7 Duration: 6 weeks Instructor: Monica Ranes Experience the joy of working with clay! This class is for anyone who wants to learn wheel throwing and teaches everything you need to get started on the wheel. Each class introduces a new throwing skill or technique and gives you hands-on time to practice your new skills with instructor supervision. In this class, we center the lessons that come with working with clay, including letting go of perfectionism, attachment, and pressure. This is a chance to slow down, get your hands messy, and experience the clay. Students have over 35 hours of open studio access to practice and build skills outside of class. Students will keep any finished pieces created in the class. A 25lb bag of clay is included in the class. -- Cancellation policy: Cancellations and refund requests must be made by email to salidaceramics@gmail.com. Requests made more than ten days before the first class will be refunded in full. Requests within ten days of the first class will be refunded at 50%. Once the class begins, no refunds are available. Orders over $100 will incur a $20 processing fee for cancellations. If a class or workshop does not fill, the studio reserves the right to cancel it one week before the start date. Sliding scale and need-based scholarships are available. Members receive 20% off of classes and workshops.
