Dates: September 2 to October 7 Day: Wednesday evenings Time: 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Duration: 6 weeks Instructor: Abigail Brown (she/her) Learn the fundamentals of handbuilding! Each class introduces a new handbuilding skill or technique, such as pinch pots, slab construction, coil building, surface decoration, and finishing methods. After a demonstration, students will have dedicated practice time with instructor guidance and will keep any finished pieces they create during class. Students have 35+ hours of open studio access to practice and build skills outside of class. A 25lb bag of clay is included in the class. ----- Cancellation policy: Cancellations and refund requests must be made by email to salidaceramics@gmail.com. Requests made more than ten days before the first class will be refunded in full. Requests within ten days of the first class will be refunded at 50%. Once the class begins, no refunds are available. Orders over $100 will incur a $20 processing fee for cancellations. If a class or workshop does not fill, the studio reserves the right to cancel it one week before the start date. Sliding scale and need-based scholarships are available. Members receive 20% off of classes and workshops.
