About

This three-hour workshop is designed for anyone who wants to strengthen their glazing skills and achieve more consistent results, ideal for students and new members who want to go beyond course instruction. Instructor Abigail Brown will cover essential techniques that lead to clean, reliable finishes -- selecting the right glaze for your piece, applying it evenly, and avoiding common issues like drips, pinholes, and crawling. Through hands-on practice, you'll learn dipping, pouring, brushing, and waxing techniques, as well as how to read glaze thickness so you can reach the surface results you’re aiming for. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of glaze behavior. This workshop is BYOB -- Bring Your Own Bisque. Date: Sunday, January 11 Instructor: Abigail Brown Time: 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $85 per person Unfortunately, if you cancel your participation, we are not able to offer refunds for this workshop. Members receive 20% off workshops, with the discount refunded after booking.
