Membership Description

Dates: January 17 to February 14 Day: Friday afternoons Time: 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Instructor: Molly Jones Designed for young artists aged 7 to 12, this hands-on course introduces students to the magical world of clay. Over five sessions, students will learn various clay techniques including hand-building, sculpting, wheel throwing, and glazing. Each young artist will create and keep their own unique pieces, from whimsical creatures to thrown pottery. Clay and glazes are included in the cost of the class. Sliding scale and scholarships are available for young artists in need of assistance to participate. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any refunds if canceled within 10 days of the start of the course.
